I Have To Give Myself A Violation For Playing Music Too Loud
That's right. I am now part of the man that is keeping you down. I am part of the institution. I am an RA, otherwise known as a narc. Oh well, I will dry my tears from crying over the loss of my soul with my wads of cash. I started training today and I am freaking tired. There is a lot of standing up and sitting down again and listening to boring speeches. I can't wait to start with real residents though. I hope I even get that far. I keep having this feeling that the rug is going to be pulled under me because of grades. It could happen and that would suck.

Flies Eat Shit, Who eats The Fly's Shit?
That quote is paraphrased from this awesome online comic I just read. It is hilarious and sad and really cool. I know a couple of the people who read this like to read stuff so I beg those of you to please please check it out. It's really cool. So you guys check it out by clicking here.

How to Lose Customers: Memo to Cellular Phone Companies
Okay I understand you like money. And I understand that you would like people to pay you money for as long as possible, but what one of these days more people are going to figure out how evil you are and just say NO! Signing a person up to a contract and then forcing them out of that contract when they don't make payments is wrong. Especially when they decide to pay for the months they missed. Let me put it this way: If a person pays the months that they owed where did they default on their contract? I mean they paid you the money owed so why would you release them from the contract? Then when I went to see if I could use your service again they needed to do a credit check and that it would take a few days to let me know whether I could use your company. Well fuck off I say. I won't use your company. I won't use any company that treats their customers like shit. I decided to go with a company that doesn't make me promise anything. And it gives me the control of how much money I pay. Since I pay up front for all my minutes, if I don't feel like paying one day, I don't have to. I lose my cell phone privileges, sure, but theirs no build-up of back payments because of some stupid piece of paper that says I would be with you for 2 fucking years. I hope more people switch to this form of cell phone usage. Maybe then a message will be sent. Easy is good.

The Part That Makes More Sense
Okay so this weekend was pretty good other than the problems with cell phone companies. Spent quality time with the family and friends. IHOP didn't see me and my brother coming when they advertised "never-ending pancakes" because there are four kinds of syrup on the table and I have to try them all. Sushi in Mexico is better than sushi I can get in Brownsville. And Mexican beer is loved by Germans. These are all things I learned this weekend.

Happy New Year!
So I didn't die last night. WooHoo! It's the end of another year and it make you want to do more blah blah blah... I don't really care for Neqw Years. It's just another reason for my parents to make me go to church. Really all I'm thinking about right now is how I am leaving in just a few days. I go and start my RA training before anyone else goes back to schooll. School also starts soon and I have to get ready for that. Unfortunately, it's only 9 hours into the new year and I already feel the laziness attack me again. Bad me. No. No. The last few days have been cool. Just me trying to fit some time in with some friends before I have to leave. And it should be more of that through the weekend. The dollar movies have been really big this week. I've never really gone there before this week but I should really go more often. I mean its great to be able to watch some movies that you didn't feel like catching when they were out in regular theatres and if you don't like them it is okay because you only paid a a dollar or so for it. It wouold be cool if Kingsville had a dollar theatre but I think thats already asking too much since the regular theatre there is really small and has the big movies watchable for 2 dollars on early shows and Wednesdays. You should all go out to your nearest cheap theatre and watch a movie. It makes a great cheap date if you are the kind of person who wants to let your dates know that you are really cheap. Happy Watching!

Hey Kid!
Pretty good weekend. It seemed very long because I went out Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Yep, I'm a pretty active fellow. Friday I went to the mall. There was WAY too many people there. Saw a few people I hadn't seen in a little while. My brother got lost (a boy of 19 and he still hasn't mastered the art of letting people know when he is going to disappear) and then while looking I saw a few people who I hadn't seen in years and frankly I had hoped I would never see them again. Oh well. I saw The Last Samurai again for free. And just went around town hanging out in different places. Saturday morning sucked because people kept waking me up until I finally woke up not all that rested at around 3 PM. Saturday night, though, was more fun than I thought it would be. Celebrated my uncle's birthday at his house. Ate menudo and lots of bread. And basically hung out with the fam (my sister's new word, sometimes I worry about her). Today consisted of Church and rest and it was about damn time.

Also
Prince of Persia is a badass game, bust-a-move is an addicting one, cryptonomicon is a good book but a thousand pages!, and giving presents rules almost as much as recieving them. You guys have a Happy New Year and you border kids: stay away from the windows.

Bah Humbug
I ope all of you in internet land are had a Merry Christmas. Mine was pretty average. There was the midnight mass and the dinner with the priest that has apparently become commonplace in the Regalado household. My siblings and I dealt with it as best we could. We came back home to bed but I couldn't sleep. I've never been able to sleep much on Christmas. Ever since I was a kid who believed in Santa Claus and the anxiety of waking up to find a christmas tree full of presents. The first time I remember not being able to sleep on Christmas was the year that I got my Super Nintendo. That was a very good year. These ddays I can't sleep because of the nostalgia I guess. It was one of those sentimental not being able to sleeps. It was nice, though. I( woke up today happy that I didn't have to go to christmas mass twice this year as in years past. My parents and my sister are actually travelling witht he priest to visit the homeland of Michoacan and my brother and I decided to stay behind this year. House to mysellf for the weekend. Party at my house ;) After my parents left my brother revived our old family tradition of going to the movies on Christmas day. We went to see PAYCHECK and it was pretty good. I love movies based on Phillip K. Dick stories. I wonder if William Gibson books will ever be so seamlessly translated to the big screen? I hope so. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

I'm Sorry :(....So Sorry:(
I know I haven't written in a while and you might think that since the last time I wrote was my 21st birthday that I have been going to the store daily to get alcohol and get drunk. That's not all the way true. Before I could do that there was finals. I study hard for finals since I slack off the rest of the semester. Everything has a price and it must all even out in the end. So I was face deep in books until I took my finals. Since then, it's not a drunken stupor but it's close. Much celebration with family and blah blah blah. Nothing much to report. But if Emma can find a way to post about nothing n a daily basis, I'm sure I can find something to say a couple of times a week or so. So, I am returned. I'll post over the break and next semester there will be more. I promise to work harder next semester but I make that promise every year so who knows. I also got a cool new job for next semester and I will see how that goes. I'm going to be an RA, I hope. Those kids will either love me or hate me, I haven't decided which yet. So yall come back now, you here?
